Here and Back Again, and Again

Note: Gotta get photos and links live…. mission for another day.

Managed to get the old blog up and running it’s 2nd month of 2020 ( I still can’t believe I don’t have a datajack or the fact it’s 2020). I will be doing a reshuffle and get the bits working again. I figured I need someplace to hold my geeky bits and non-Portrait work. So yes, my Travel photos and Landscape/Cityscape stuff will come here plus some more casual food/drink the stuff.

Although the last few years have been on the instagram.com/keane.chan and facebook.com/keanechan the feed kinda disappears when I want to say a bit more than a few sentences and a photo.

We’ve just come back from Singapore and Taipei, yes the last big entry was also back from a trip… It ended up a pretty scary trip with the latest Corona Virus. But we’ve arrived back fine and back into the normal stuff now.

Gotta say Grammarly, is helping me write a bit better and I am able to put down brain thoughts as I go…

Project BigSplit has happened and now I have 3 photography brands and the design brand to work on.

Capturing Cosplay is up and running, Capturing Heartbeats is on the down-low right now ( coming up very soon), and Keane Chan Photos is looking ok, need to fill out content on Insta.

Got a bit of swag ( I got my 2 Priscilla Chan Jazz CDs “Evolve” and “By Heart” and the CD for Anita Mui’s “Stand by Me” – this is a big win) from the Singapore and Taipei trip, will post later on and also managed to play a few games, drink a bit of beer and coffee – while catching up with friends.

RPG front is slow but Second season of a homemade game is coming up running by a good friend, an online game about to start and I am working on a Kickstarter project. I have Vampire and D&D 5th ed plus a bucket load of Call of Cthulhu.

Got a set of painted Black Knights from my friend in Singapore using contrast paints, no doubt gotta get my Legion of Nagash into shape, mainly Deathrattle, some Deadwalkers and Nighthaunts.

Something about new and updated rules for Blood Angels, letting us use the Primaris stuff ( which I yet to update on). But I need to finish off the original marines. Lots are unpainted.

Managed to get the 5th ed cores and the Curse of Strahd books, I sold off a bunch of my 2nd ed Ravenloft and probably looking to clean the collection a bit.

Still on a Gin and Whisky kick, and West Coast IPA and Sours, can’t wait to try out the teas (Pu’er and Oolong) I got from the recent trip as well.

The desktop is still very messy, got a bunch of real work to do, and the piles of dishes…
